Geert Degezelle (b. 1974) is Chief Commercial Officer B2B at Telenet group. He started his career at Simac, after which he established his own telecom software company before moving to Telindus in 2005 and later Proximus. There he gained extensive experience in sales, strategy, innovation, and M&A. While there, Degezelle also developed the company’s cybersecurity business and was responsible for the networking & cloud business unit.
From 2015 to 2019, he served as CEO of Telindus Netherlands, where he achieved strong financial results and significant employee satisfaction. He then became CEO of Cheops Technology before joining Telenet group as Vice President Sales in February 2021. In September 2021, he was appointed Chief Commercial Officer B2B, responsible for Telenet Business services to SMEs, large companies and public authorities.
Geert has a degree in telecommunications engineering, a postgraduate degree in telecommunications from the University of Antwerp, and an MBA from Flanders Business School. He is passionate about technology and how it can serve people, businesses and society. Geert Degezelle is married with two sons. In his spare time, he enjoys cooking, mountain biking, sailing, scuba diving, tennis and photography.
