Luk Bruynseels (b. 1981) is Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Telenet group. He has more than 20 years of experience in technology and telecom, initially in his own startup in online marketing during his studies and later as a consultant.
In 2009, he joined Telenet group, where he held various positions in the Engineering Department. From 2015 to 2017, he was the network M&A lead for the merger with BASE, responsible for the upgrade of the mobile network and post-merger synergy realization.
In 2018, he was appointed Vice President Engineering, merging fixed, mobile and TV services and transforming the department to work agile by 2020. In 2021, his scope was expanded to include connectivity product and customer journey design.
Bruynseels also co-founded and sponsored TADAAM, the Telenet group's digital fixed wireless access service. He joined Telenet's Senior Leadership Team in 2022 and was appointed CTO in April 2023. He now leads the Product & Technology circle, ensuring that the company's customer-centric vision is underpinned by a robust technology foundation and operations.
Bruynseels has a degree in civil engineering technology (electronics) and a postgraduate degree in corporate finance from KU Leuven. He has two children and enjoys sports such as soccer, running, hiking, snowboarding and traveling.
