Bart van Sprundel joined Telenet group in 2014, holding various senior legal, transactional and governance roles over the years. Following his appointment as General Counsel in 2024, he became a member of the Senior Leadership Team with responsibility for the legal, regulatory and privacy departments. His leadership has been crucial in various acquisition and financing dossiers, board and shareholder relations, and managing legal risks of all kinds.
Before joining Telenet group, Bart was an attorney and corporate lawyer. He started his career working for Allen & Overy as a corporate and M&A lawyer, after which he went to work as a legal manager for an international, listed company. Bart also has many years of experience in boardrooms, both as a ‘Company Secretary’ and director. He holds a Master of Laws from the University of Antwerp.
Bart is a passionate professional who enjoys sharing his insights with peers and stakeholders through various platforms. He is also a certified director. Outside of work, Bart enjoys biking and hiking, as well as good food and wine, preferably in the company of family and friends. He is married and has two children.
