With an extensive international and multicultural background, Silvia has held leadership roles across North America, Latin America, Europe, the Middle East and Africa at companies such as Lucent Technologies, Avaya, Citrix, Hitachi Vantara, Nortel Networks and Stryker.
Silvia brings deep expertise in corporate finance, M&A, financial planning and analysis (FP&A), accounting, customer finance and credit management. She has led Finance in business units and geographic regions, always with a strong commercial and operational focus.
Originally from Ecuador, Silvia also holds U.S. citizenship. Silvia has lived and worked in the United States, the Netherlands, Switzerland and Spain. She earned a degree in Commerce Engineering and a Master of Science in Accounting from Babson College in Massachusetts. Additionally, she completed the Global Leadership Program at Harvard Business School, further strengthening her strategic and executive leadership capabilities.
Silvia is married and the proud mother of two sons. In her free time, she enjoys taking dance classes, traveling with her family and exploring new cultures.
