Dieter Nieuwdorp, born in 1975, is Chief Commercial Officer for the Residential & SOHO Business at Telenet group.
He joined Telenet group in 2007 and held various roles within the Legal department. He also served for many years as Secretary to the Board of Directors of Telenet group.
In 2014, he joined the executive committee as Senior Vice President Strategy & Corporate Development, where he helped shape the strategic direction of Telenet group. He was also responsible for the group’s mergers and acquisitions policy and for developing new business activities.
Since 2020, Dieter has been responsible for the Residential & SOHO Business, focusing on acquiring and retaining residential and small business customers for fixed and mobile connectivity, television, and (premium) entertainment. This covers all brands within Telenet group (Telenet, BASE, Tadaam, Play More, Play Sports, …).
Since 2023, he has also been responsible for digital activities, data & insights, and the management of certain IT platforms within Telenet group.
Dieter holds a Master of Laws from KU Leuven and an LL.M. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School. He is married, has three children, and lives in Herent, Belgium.
