As of 2 November 2026, Rocío Lorenzo is CEO of Telenet Group Holding NV. She brings extensive international experience in the telecommunications industry, combining strategic expertise with operational leadership experience. As CEO, she will continue to drive Telenet group's strategic direction within the Ziggo Group.
Prior to joining Telenet group, Rocío Lorenzo headed Cable & Wireless Panama. In this role, she was responsible for strategy, technology, product development, sales, operations and customer service. She joined Liberty Latin America in 2021 as Chief Customer Officer, with responsibilities including customer experience, digital and customer operations.
Before that, Rocío Lorenzo was Managing Director and Senior Partner at Boston Consulting Group (BCG), where she led the Telecommunications Practice and advised international telecommunications companies on commercial, digital and business transformations. In this role, she also worked with Telenet group on strategic transformation initiatives, including the acquisition of BASE Company and the transformation of its operating model.
Rocío Lorenzo was born in Spain and studied law at the universities of Santiago de Compostela in Spain and Passau in Germany. In addition to her management experience, she has published on topics including diversity, innovation, personalization and artificial intelligence in the telecommunications industry.
