Jeroen Bronselaer, born in 1978, is the CEO of Play Media and Executive Vice President of Media at Telenet holding. He joined Telenet group in September 2010, where he initially managed negotiations with broadcasters and content providers. He later became responsible for Telenet group’s in-house entertainment products Play, Play More, and Play Sports.

In 2015, he joined the Senior Leadership Team as Senior Vice President of Residential Marketing, overseeing the positioning, branding, and marketing of all residential products for both Telenet and BASE. His strategic vision and leadership have significantly contributed to the company’s growth and market presence. Since November 2020, Bronselaer has been CEO of Play Media, while continuing to provide strategic oversight of Telenet holding’s other media activities.

Before joining Telenet group, he worked at the Flemish public broadcaster VRT, where he started as a producer and quickly moved into more business-oriented management roles within the Media division. Bronselaer holds a Master’s degree in Commercial Engineering and a postgraduate degree in Communication from KU Leuven. He is known for his expertise in media and telecommunications and has played a key role in shaping Telenet group’s media strategy.

Jeroen Bronselaer is married to his childhood sweetheart and lives with his wife and three fast-growing children in, or at least near, the church tower of Liedekerke. He used to be a football player, but due to a knee injury, he now mainly enjoys cycling across Flemish hills and French cols. To truly escape, he prefers traveling to Italy’s Aosta Valley.
