Bart van Sprundel has been working at Telenet group since 2014 in various senior legal, transactional, and governance roles. As General Counsel, he has been a member of the Senior Leadership Team since 2024. He is responsible for the legal, regulatory, and privacy departments. His leadership has been crucial in multiple M&A and financing transactions, in managing relationships with the Board of Directors and shareholders, and in overseeing legal risks of all kinds.
Before joining Telenet group, Bart gained experience as both a lawyer and in-house counsel. He started his professional career at Allen & Overy as a business lawyer, specializing in corporate law, mergers, and acquisitions. He then worked as a legal manager in an international, publicly listed corporate environment. Bart also has many years of experience in boardrooms, both as a Company Secretary and as a director. He holds a Master of Laws from the University of Antwerp.
Bart is a passionate professional who enjoys sharing his insights with peers and stakeholders in various forums. He is also a certified director. Outside of work, Bart enjoys cycling and walking, as well as good food and wine—preferably in the company of family and friends. He is married and has two children.
