Geert Degezelle, born in 1974, is Chief Commercial Officer B2B at Telenet group. He began his career at Simac, founded his own telecom software company, and then moved to Telindus in 2005 and later Proximus. There, he gained extensive experience in sales, strategy, innovation, and mergers and acquisitions. He also built out the cybersecurity business and led the networking & cloud business unit.
From 2015 to 2019, he was CEO of Telindus Netherlands, where he achieved strong financial results and high employee satisfaction. He then became CEO at Cheops Technology before joining Telenet group in February 2021 as Vice President Sales. Since September 2021, he has served as Chief Commercial Officer B2B, where he is responsible for Telenet Business services for SMEs, large enterprises, and government organizations.
Geert holds a degree in telecommunications engineering, a postgraduate degree in telecom from the University of Antwerp, and an MBA from Flanders Business School. He is passionate about technology and how it can serve people, businesses, and society. Geert Degezelle is married, has two sons, and enjoys cooking, mountain biking, sailing, diving, tennis, and photography in his free time.
