Welcome to Telenet!

Telenet is part of Liberty Global, a world leader in converged broadband, video and mobile communications and an active investor in cutting-edge infrastructure, content and technology ventures.

This time around, Telenet and LG make up the dream team. Our aim? To give three enthusiastic and outstanding finance graduates a shot at a once-in-a-lifetime, hands-on learning experience through an international finance graduate program.

It’s a fast-moving, dynamic business environment – with Finance at the center of everything we do, striving to achieve optimal returns on capital, deliver an efficient control and planning framework, and drive our leveraged equity strategy.

Join our targeted international graduate scheme, and you’ll gain in-depth experience in our Finance operations.

What to expect

Our program consists of three 12-month rotations across Europe and the UK and a range of departments including:

Capital Allocation & Business Control

Audit, Risk & Compliance

Finance Operations

Group Reporting & Technical Accounting

Tax

Property

Facilities & Fleet

Procurement

You’ll start off by building your core understanding of the structure, processes, and systems of Finance, before moving into roles within our UK and European operating companies and ventures and finally gaining experience in more expert areas like Treasury, Strategy, and M&A.

You will follow a solid learning and development curriculum to help you build valuable business and soft skills. Courses include presentation training, effective business writing, partner management, and many more.

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for graduates with a growth mindset, people keen to spread their wings and venture to another country during and after the program is finished. We want to see your passion for finance, your love of a good challenge, and your desire to come up with ideas that inspire and influence our senior leaders. We’re more interested in your qualities than specific qualifications. Other qualities we hope to see in graduates include:

  • Curiosity
  • Resilience
  • Collaboration
  • A highly analytical approach
  • Enough confidence to ask questions

Our purpose is to build Tomorrow’s Connections Today, and our Diversity, Equity and Inclusion vision is at the core of that. We believe in creating a culture that empowers colleagues to achieve their potential and bring their whole selves to work every day. We are committed to taking on discrimination in all its forms and being a positive force for good in the world today.
