about discounts
After placing your order, you’ll receive an email from us to choose your streaming service. Choose from Netflix, Disney+ or Streamz at €0, or Play Sports from €9.99. Already have one of these streaming services? No problem — you’ll still get the 6 months of streaming for free.
Your student discount for the 2026–2027 academic year is valid until 13/10/2027. Before your discount expires, we’ll send an email to the student email address from which you applied for the student discount. This allows you to apply for your student discount for the 2028–2029 academic year (subject to the applicable conditions). Please note that the student discount only applies to our updated offer.
In the following cases, your student discount will end before 13/10/2027: as soon as you are no longer enrolled at a university or college. In all cases where the student discount is no longer valid, you will pay the standard price applicable to Telenet internet at that time. Don’t worry — your internet will not be interrupted. You’ll simply remain connected in your student room.

about student room address and installation
If you're able to install your internet yourself, we’ll guide you with our starter guide. Prefer not to do it yourself after all? A technician can come and install everything for you for €85. The technician — or a shop assistant in store — will help you choose the equipment you need.

Yes. As a student room landlord, you receive a monthly discount of €12 on internet for all your student rooms.
If you go on an Erasmus exchange, you can cancel your internet at any time. When you return, you can easily take out a new internet subscription.
As an international student studying in Belgium, you are also eligible for a student discount. You can only apply for the student discount in store. Be sure to bring the following with you:
- Student card
- Valid ID (e-ID or residence permit)
- Copy of your rental agreement in your name (for European students without an e-ID or residence permit)

Conditions of the current promotions:
- Student Discount Promotion:
- The discount amount applies to Basic, Standard or Turbo Internet, optionally combined with a discount on 1 mobile subscription (15GB or Unlimited).
- The student discount is exclusively available to students enrolled at a university or university college and must be requested using the educational institution’s email address. The discount for the 2026–2027 academic year is valid until 13/10/2027. The student discount will expire earlier if the student is no longer enrolled at a university or university college. In all cases where the student discount is no longer valid, the student will pay the then applicable standard price.
- Not combinable with other internet promotions.
